In the first footage of 'The Secrets of Dumbledore', Jude Law's Albus Dumbledore appears to prepare someone who looks like Newt's brother Theseus Scamander for an impossible task.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the first footage of "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" ahead of the release of the full trailer. Making its way out on Friday, December 10, the trailer sneak peek offers the first glimpse at Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert Grindelwald.
The approximately-two-minute video offers a retrospective look at the "Harry Potter" franchise and twenty years of "Harry Potter" fandom before it teases "new adventures." The new footage is set to voiceover by Jude Law's Albus Dumbledore.
"The world as we know it is coming undone," he warns. "Things that seem unimaginable today will seem inevitable tomorrow." He is then seen speaking to someone who looks like Newt's brother Theseus Scamander, "Should you agree to do what I ask, you'll have to trust me, even when every instinct tells you not to," seemingly preparing him for an impossible task.
As it's said before, the third installment of the "Fantastic Beasts" film series will put the spotlight on Albus Dumbledore and set more action at Hogwarts. The third movie will also show how magic is explored in an entirely new location, Rio de Janeiro.
According to the official synopsis, "Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald's growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?"
The full trailer will be released on Monday, December 13. Meanwhile, the film is due out on April 15, 2020, with Eddie Redmayne returning as magizoologist Newt Scamander. Other cast members include Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Callum Turner, Alison Sudol and Ezra Miller among others. Mads Mikkelsen takes over the role of Grindelwald from Johnny Depp, who left the franchise in November due to a loss in a domestic violence related defamation lawsuit.
