The feud rumors between the two rappers first emerged in May after DJ Akademiks told a story about an unnamed artist who banned his boss from his birthday bash.

AceShowbiz - Rick Ross made sure that he has no ill feelings towards Meek Mill. When addressing rumors suggesting that he's feuding with the "Going Bad" rapper, the record executive wished the 34-year-old emcee success.

When asked about the status of their relationship, the 45-year-old told Hip-Hop editor Carl Lamarreon on Wednesday, December 8, "I feel like we're both hustlers." He went on to share, "That's one thing about life, you either grow together or grow apart."

"As a boss, you make that decision, because whatever it is you want to do, Ricky Rozay wants to see you do it," Rick continued. "There's a lot of people that didn't last or was still down with me the way Meek is - so I want to see the homie shine regardless."

The feud rumors between Rick and Meek first emerged in May. At that time, DJ Akademiks told a story about an unnamed artist who banned his boss from his birthday party. "There is an artist that's signed to another artist," DJ Akademiks first shared during a livestream.

"The artist that's signed to another artist, they were having a party. The artist they're signed to allegedly tried to enter the party and go about certain places, and I heard that there was a big issue," he added. "One of your favorite artists who's claiming that they're 'lit,' they're a 'boss,' they do 'whatever' - they're signed to another n***a."

"And allegedly, they're beefing with the other n***a cuz they're tryna get off the label," the Internet personality added. "I hear they want off the label. This been a ongoing conversation. The n***a who they're signed to showed up to their party, [and] they were not happy. When that person showed up, there was issues."

Meek signed with Rick's Maybach Music Group (MMG) back in 2011, two years after the record label was founded. The Philadelphia rapper, real name Robert Rihmeek Williams, has since released his five projects under the imprint.
