The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star defends her husband as she insinuates in a new interview that she believes this kind of thing 'will never happen again.'

AceShowbiz - Dorit Kemsley has broken her silence after her husband Paul "PK" Kemsley was arrested for suspicion of DUI. When attending the 2021 People's Choice Awards on Tuesday, December 7, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star revealed that her husband was "very regretful."

According to Page Six, Dorit told a photographer, "He fully understands the nature and the danger of drinking and driving." Defending her husband, the Bravo personality claimed, "He was barely over the limit, and he fully understands and reassures me that it will never happen again."

PK was pulled over on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles after police noticed his Bentley wearing in traffic before Thanksgiving Day. He was taken to police station after he blew a breathalyzer test. He failed his test again at the station.

The 54-year-old property developer was eventually released after being given a citation. His lawyer shared that the businessman only had a glass of wine and he had "learned a valuable lesson." He went on to say, "PK was arrested and cited on November 23 on suspicion of DUI. While out with a business colleague, PK consumed a glass of wine with dinner."

"Following a traffic stop, it was determined that he may have been close to the legal limit. He regrets the fact he did not take alternate transportation home that evening," the lawyer continued. "PK takes the allegations extremely seriously and fully cooperated with the authorities. This would mark the first and only such incident in PK's long driving history. He has learned a valuable lesson."

The DUI arrest came after Dorit was robbed at gunpoint at her and PK's Encino Hills, California house. The reality TV star and their two children, Phoenix, five, and Jagger, seven, were home when the thieves broke into the house in October.

She allegedly begged the intruders not to harm her and her children as she was held at gunpoint. The robbers snatched all of her jewellery and designer handbags. They ran off with $100,000 worth of her valuables after ransacking the house.
