The upcoming Disney+ series about the legendary bounty hunter was first teased in a surprise end-credit sequence in season 2 finale of 'The Mandalorian'.

AceShowbiz - Disney+ has treated fans to the first new teaser trailer for "The Book of Boba Fett". In the new clip, which was released on Monday, November 29, Boba Fett mentions his fateful moment when he died the dreaded Sarlacc pit.

"I am Boba Fett, left for dead on the sands of Tatooine," the bounty hunter says in voiceover. "Jabba ruled with fear. I intend to rule with respect."

The teaser also sees Boba, who fell into the dreaded Sarlacc pit in "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi", healing himself in a Bacta tank. It seemingly hints that he has somehow escaped from that deadly fall after his jetpack malfunctioned.

The spin-off of "The Mandalorian" stars Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. The show is executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Meanwhile, Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian joining as co-producer.

Additionally, Disney+ released first character posters for the show. "Witness the rise of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand in one month. @TheBookOfBobaFett, a seven-episode Original Series, begins December 29 on #DisneyPlus," the official account of the streaming platform wrote on Instagram.

According to the official logline, "The Book of Boba Fett" follows the titular character and Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy's underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. The new show is set to launch on December 29 on Disney+.
