AceShowbiz - DaniLeigh is stepping aside from the negativity amid her drama with baby daddy DaBaby. The "Yellow Bone" singer opted to share positive vibe ahead of Thanksgiving day by giving out gift cards to single moms.
On Wednesday, November 24, Dani announced on Instagram Stories, "I want to give gift cards to mommy's in need for Thanksgiving ! DM me and I'll be sending em out today." In a follow-up post, the musician added, "OK mamas I wish I could help all of u... I picked out a lot of ladies and I hope that what I send u helps out..."
Dani went on to share a Boomerang video of gift cards that she sent out the morning. "Sending these out in the morning. Love you guys && I really hope u have a great Thanksgiving .. Life ain't easy but we gotta go through s**t to be who we need to be .. especially for our babies," so she wrote over the video.
Fans loved what Dani did and showered her with praises. One Instagram user, who apparently was among the ladies who got Dani's gift cards, raved in a comment, "She definitely messaged me back! She's so sweet!" Another fan added, "This is sweet of her. Seems like she's trying to turn over a new leaf…"
"It takes strength to still help others when you need help your damn self," someone else gushed. "This is how you rise above queen !! Let's go!!!!!!! Love her for this," one person wrote. Meanwhile, someone else noted that "THIS IS SUCH A BETTER REASON FOR HER TO BE IN THE NEWS" considering that Dani has been making headlines for her drama with DaBaby as well as colorist accusations for the past few days.
Prior to this, Dani thanked her followers for her support amid her drama with the "Suge" rapper. "I appreciate y'all DMs, and the stories y'all are sharing with me ... I see a lot of women relating to me," she wrote in an IG Story. "And I can't wait to inspire more and grow into the woman I'm supposed to be ... thank you for your love and motivation."
Dani and DaBaby made headlines following their heated argument on Instagram Live. The latter called cops on Dani and that led to her being charged for two misdemeanor assaults.
