Fans previously believed that the 'Bloody Valentine' rapper's collaborative album with Travis Barker, 'Tickets to My Downfall', would have been listed in the Best Rock Album category.

AceShowbiz - Machine Gun Kelly is not happy with the 2022 Grammy Awards nominations list. Upon learning that he didn't receive a single nod, the "Bloody Valentine" rocker took to social media to put the Recording Academy on blast.

The "Bad Things" hitmaker, whose real name is Colson Baker, expressed his disappointment on Twitter on Tuesday, November 23. "wtf is wrong with the grammys," he argued.

Fans believed that MGK and Travis Barker's collaborative album "Tickets to My Downfall" could've been listed in the Best Rock Album category. However, they lost to Black Pumas, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Chris Cornell and Paul McCartney.

Despite the Grammys snub, MGK had something to celebrate recently. On Sunday, the 31-year-old emcee/singer took home a trophy for Favorite Rock Artist at the 49th annual American Music Awards at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater.

When attending the event, MGK brought his daughter Casie instead of his girlfriend Megan Fox. For the star-studded awards show, he donned a silver-studded black long sleeve and black pants with a spiked choker. His 12-year-old daughter, meanwhile, looked stunning in a classic black cut-out gown.

To celebrate his win, the "Swing Life Away" spitter shared several pictures of him and his daughter with the trophy on Instagram. In the accompanying message, he raved, "tWINning [a black heart emoji]." He also wrote on Twitter, "winning a fan voted award >>>>."

MGK was not the only artist who got snubbed from the 2022 Grammy nominations. Nicki Minaj's name was also nowhere to be found despite fans believing that her single "Seeing Green" ft. Drake and Lil Wayne would have received a nod.

Fans have since called out the Recording Academy on Twitter. One person in particular argued, "Ngl I'm not surprised Nicki isn't nominated for a grammy… but that woman has been snubbed way too many times for my liking 'Seeing Green' could've definitely been nominated for at least best rap song or something like…. I'm disgusted and embarrassed. #GRAMMYs."
