AceShowbiz - Priyanka Chopra has put to rest rumors that there may be trouble in paradise in her relationship with Nick Jonas. As speculation ran rampant that the Indian actress may have split from her husband after three years of marriage, she left a flirty comment on the singer/actor's Instagram post.
On Monday, November 22, the one-third of the Jonas Brothers posted a working out video on his social media page. In it, the 29-year-old flexed his arm muscles as he wore a sleeveless shirt, shorts and compression leggings while doing bicep curls.
Hoping to inspire others to maintain their gym routine, Nick wrote in the caption, "Monday motivation. Let's get it." The clip quickly gained attention from other users, including his own wife Priyanka who gushed in the comment section, "Damn! I just died in your arms…" She added an emoji with heart eyes, another sweating and a third simple red heart.
Seeing the former Miss World's response to Nick's video, some fans were relieved as they believe that the two are still together. "we all shocked after hearing this news .. Thank God it's fake," one person reacted.
Another commented, "you don't even have to tell us why you dropped the name Jonas on social media I mean who really cares lol can't wait for the roast." A third brushed the split speculation altogether as saying, "theres nothing wrong you are all reaching."
Some others, however, remain skeptic that Priyanka and Nick's marriage is still intact. "you don't have to pretend we know you hate each other babes," one claimed. Another demanded an explanation, "why did you omitted husband's surname...pc mam something is wrong."
The split rumors first surfaced after Priyanka removed Nick's last name from her Instagram bio. The 39-year-old actress, who used to go by Priyanka Chopra-Jonas on the photo-sharing platform, has dropped both of her last names on her social media accounts, leaving only her first name.
"Priyanka removed jonas from her name on ig. are you guys thinking what im thinking? [Face with raised eyebrow]," a Twitter user reacted. Another curious person asked, "Okay, so not my kind of tweet, but @priyankachopra removed Jonas from her name!? Is the fairytale coming to an end? I am no fan-girl of celeb couples but kinda liked em together…"
