AceShowbiz - Jeff Johnson has passed away. The former reptile dealer featured on "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness" died after shooting himself in front of his wife in his Oklahoma house, according to a police report. He was 58 years old.

According to the report filed by the Oklahoma City Police Department, the TV star, who appeared in season one of "Tiger King", took his own life in front of his wife after a heated argument with her in their garage on September 8. His wife immediately called 911.

When emergency services arrived at the scene, the report continued, Jeff still had a pulse and was taken to a hospital, where he was then pronounced dead. The Medical Examiner also listed Jeff's manner of death as suicide.

The couple's children were home at the time of the incident, according to the authorities. Cops also said that Jeff was not known to have had any mental illnesses. His death occurred just days after "Tiger King" zookeeper Erik Cowie was found dead as a result of excessive alcohol use.

Erik, who was among the stars on the Netflix reality series "Tiger King", was found dead in New York City in September. Officials from the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner confirmed that the 53-year-old's death was natural and stemmed from "acute and chronic alcohol use."

Erik had admitted to having a drinking problem and said he was "at the end of [his] rope" before he started working with Joe Exotic as an animal caretaker. He stayed on at the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma after Joe was imprisoned for attempting to kill rival Carole Baskin.

As for Joe, he is now serving a 22-year sentence after being convicted of plotting a murder-for-hire against Carole. He was recently transferred to a medical center in North Carolina amid his battle with "aggressive" prostate cancer.

Federal prison officials confirmed that Joe was transferred from Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas to a different federal facility in North Carolina on November 16 that caters to prisoners with "special health needs." According to the website, Federal Medical Center Butner provides "extensive medical services" with a full hospital and cancer treatment facilities.
