The 'WAP' femcee has unveiled the soundtrack she recorded for the newly-released sports drama movie, which is fronted and directed by the former Bond girl.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B has released her new track, "Bet It", from the "Bruised" soundtrack.

The "WAP" hitmaker's thumping new track will feature in Halle Berry's directional debut, a sports drama in which she plays a disgraced mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who decides to return to the ring for an unsanctioned bout.

And the hip-hop superstar "loved" teaming up with the former Bond girl on the project.

The soundtrack also includes contributions from the likes of H.E.R., Saweetie, and City Girls.

Alongside a clip of the track, Cardi wrote on Instagram; "The Bruised Soundtrack is finally hereee! I loved working on this with @halleberry and all of the amazing artists that contributed to the soundtrack, we really making history with this one @saweetie @latto777 @citygirls @thegirljt @yungmiami305 @hermusicofficial @youngma @imbabytate @flomillishit @rapsody @realericabanks @bigbottlewyanna @ambre @dreamdoll (sic)."

Cardi and Halle co-executive produced the soundtrack, which, according to the actress-turned-director, is the first ever "all female hip-hop project."

While Halle Berry would love to sit behind the lens for more movies after "Bruised", she would rather not direct her own movie. I hope so, I loved it, but I doubt I will ever star in it and direct again - both jobs are large enough," she explained. I have been bitten by the directing bug and I have a lot of stories I'd love to tell."

The role required lots of physical work and, during filming, Halle ended up with two cracked ribs but insisted on pushing through for the sake of the job.

"It threatened production so I made the decision not to tell anyone in case we were shut down," she opened up. "I carried on and I think the fighter side of my training took over. It was only when we finished that I told everyone, and I went to the hospital!"
