The 'Easy on Me' singer reveals she was in a secret relationship before dating her sports agent boyfriend following the breakdown of her marriage to Simon Konecki.

AceShowbiz - Pop superstar Adele has revealed she secretly dated someone between splitting from her husband and meeting current boyfriend Rich Paul.
The "Easy on Me" hitmaker kept the relationship private because she didn't feel right about dating so soon after filing for divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019, and it ultimately ended because she associated him with the breakdown of her marriage.
"It wasn't right, leaving a marriage and then dating a year after. Even if you feel ready, it's a gaping, open wound whether you leave or you're left," she tells British magazine The Face.
"I was unable to pretend that I wasn't in my own storm... I couldn't give myself properly. I couldn't be consistent, and neither could he. I associate him with the breakdown of my marriage. So therefore, he is part of the storm."
"And I was just, you know, really honest with him about it, thank God. Otherwise I could've found myself in a situation being in a relationship I didn't want to be in after coming out of one."
Adele is now happily dating American sports agent Paul, who she met at a mutual friend's birthday party.
Earlier this month (Nov21), she told Rolling Stone their relationship is the most "incredible, openhearted, and easiest" she's ever had.
