When appearing on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', the 55-year-old Oscar-winning actress explains that Nicki and H.E.R also deserve the title because 'there's room for more than one queen.'

AceShowbiz - It looks like Halle Berry doesn't want to reignite the feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. After crowning the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker the "Queen of Hip-Hop," the "Bruised" actress also gave the label to the "Anaconda" hitmaker.

The 55-year-old addressed the matter when appearing in a recent episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". She said, "Here's the thing, there's room for more than one queen, people. That's what we need to know. Nicki is a queen in her own right, H.E.R. is a queen. All these ladies to me are queens. There can always be more than one."

"Queen is a term that we use to describe great," the Oscar winner further explained to host Jimmy Kimmel. "You know, we're all a queen. All we do all day is say, 'Hey queen!' 'What's up, queen?' 'Yeah, queen!' 'What's happening, queen?'... Queen, queen, queen. We're all queens."

The interview came after Halle praised Cardi while hosting a premiere for "Bruised", which features a soundtrack full of female rappers curated by the two. "I reached out to Cardi b because she's the Queen of Hip hop," the actress said at the Saturday, November 13 event.

Winnie Harlow, however, awarded the title to Nicki. While presenting at MTV's 2021 Europe Music Awards on the next day, the model described the "Super Bass" femcee as "the one and only Queen of Hip-Hop."

Winnie and Halle's statements both caused an uproar on Twitter. Though so, Cardi didn't say much about the remarks. "I know how some of you girls like to tussle over this typa childish s**t… but ntm on Halle Berry," she penned on Twitter. "Anyway her movie #BRUISED dropping THAT SHE DIRECTED HERSELF on Netflix on November 24th. The FIRST female rap movie soundtrack!! we produced together out this FRIDAY!"

Winnie herself has offered her clarification on her own page, insisting that she didn't diss Cardi. "I didnt see Halles speech at the time. I been a fan since middle school & have always felt that way. I didnt know Nicki won until they handed me the envelope backstage but I'm proud af. Cardi is a sweetheart to me. What shade? I'm a fan of both," the Canadian native pointed out.
