AceShowbiz - Keyshia Cole is mourning the death of her adoptive father. A few days after confirming that Leon Cole had passed away, the "Love" singer offered a moving tribute to him, whom she called the "greatest example of love."

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, November 16, the R&B artist unleashed a throwback picture of her smiling widely while dancing with Leon. She also added an image of her posing alongside her late dad, his wife Dr. Yvonne Cole and her biological mother Frankie Lons.

In the caption of the snap, Keyshia wrote, "Unfortunately my father didn't make it through his complications, due to covid-19." She went on to note, "So here we are. He made sure (Even tho he wasn't my biological father) to keep a stable foundation and roof over all of our heads during our upbringing!!!!"

"My child hood was filled with 40L and 52L rides along side my father!!! I loved having a bus pass until I was 18 years old. He was a very wise man," the musician added. "Taught me and my siblings that knowledge is power!! He was very dedicated to learning and sharing his strong thoughts and opinions on the Bible and religion."

"He was the greatest example of love, 51 years of marriage to my mother Yvonne Cole Seriously the most loving guy I've ever known," she further remembered. "And he's gonna be missed so much! I hate that this has happened !!! And that I've now lost two beautiful souls within a few months from each other."

Keyshia first confirmed Leon's death on Sunday, November 14. At that time, she thanked a fan who shared condolences. Leon's wife Yvonne, meanwhile, announced her husband's death by issuing a statement on her Facebook page.
