The former 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star sparks debate on social media about wedding guest etiquette after showing too much skin in a friend's Florida wedding.

AceShowbiz - Kendall Jenner has landed in hot water. The former star of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" sparked a debate about wedding guest etiquette after she wore a dress that showed too much skin when attending a friend's wedding.

On November 11, the 26-year-old catwalk beauty was a bridesmaid at the Florida wedding of influencer Lauren Perez. For the reception, she opted to wear a black dress from Monot's SS22 collection, which featured diamond-shaped cut-outs and left her midriff bare.

In photos and videos posted to her Instagram Stories, which have since expired, but have been screenshotted and shared on social media, Kendall could be seen wearing the statement dress while posing with fellow wedding guests including Hailey Baldwin and Bella Hadid. However, the reality TV star's dress choice has prompted reactions, with many fans questioning the appropriateness of the outfit.

"It's the etiquette/manners/courtesy aspect of wearing this dress to SOMEONE ELSE'S WEDDING," a social media user criticized via Twitter. The critic then accused Kendall of drawing attention away from the bride as saying, "Like, in no way are we shaming Kendall's look at all, it's just...everyone knows the focus of a wedding day should be the bride and groom, not the guests."

Another person tweeted, "Imagine Kendall Jenner wearing this to your wedding," adding crying face emojis. In the meantime, a separate user claimed that "Kendall Jenner really said F you to her best friend on her wedding day."

One person went on to say that Kendall was "blatantly disrespectful to the bride." Another added, "I'm sorry but kendall wearing that dress to someone else's wedding (!!) is the most pick me s**t i've maybe ever seen. This is so tacky and rude, kinda feels like she wanted more attention than the bride."

While most people agreed that the dress was not appropriate wedding attire, others defended Kendall on the basis that she changed into the gown after the actual ceremony, where she served as a bridesmaid. "Why are so many people pissed about the dress that Kendall Jenner wore?? She used that dress during the after-party and not the actual wedding," one tweet read.

"Y'all are saying she's an attention-seeker???? You guys are GIVING her the attention. Make it make sense," another fan wrote. Meanwhile, a separate supporter argued, "Hot take but I literally see nothing wrong with what Kendall Jenner wore to the wedding after party."
