When addressing their fight and why he aired it on Instagram Live, the 'Rockstar' spitter claims that he did it for his safety after receiving 'multiple threats' and being beaten up in the past.

AceShowbiz - DaniLeigh and DaBaby's volatile relationship has been put on display on the Internet even after they broke up. The former couple, who shares a daughter together, has just had a heated argument that resulted in a visit from cops.
On late Sunday, November 14, DaBaby turned on his Instagram Live to capture his verbal fight with Dani. In the video which has been since reposted by other users, his baby mama was seen nursing her child, holding a milk bottle to feed the baby girl on bed.
The "Yellow Bone" songstress was upset that DaBaby filmed it on Live and taunted him, "What a f**king coward... I'm f**king live." Justifying his act, the rapper claimed, "I gotta record you for my f**king safety." He later slammed her as a "crazy girl."
Shortly afterwards, DaBaby released a statement to address his altercation with his baby mama. "I would like to swiftly remove myself from any of the 'hostile' behavior put on display moments ago," so he posted on his Story, "this here thing has gone far enough for shawty to crash out on her own and it saddens me because I still got a queen to raise."
He continued explaining, "The last hour has been documented for my safety and business done based on my reputation. With multiple threats of setting up a Internet scheme & a person refusing to not let me go. Me and somebody else here knew to record her. I done been beat on and yelled at and chased around like one if them fatal love attraction type girls." Claiming that he always "knew to keep it together," DaBaby didn't mention if his past experience in a hostile situation was with Dani or someone else.
"My team will be in contact with any and everybody we're in business with who mad need clarification," the Cleveland native added, before noting, "End of the day no big deal I don't want no charges pressed or nothing I just want her peacefully removed which they need to hurry up do as we speak I ain't even want that behavior on display but it's okay man this too shall pass it's all good."
"Hate shawty went out that way but that ain't my business I'm a father first always, and always will be," DaBaby stressed. He also said that he wrote the statement, not his PR team as adding, "This really me typing too no PR."
The 29-year-old then made a plug for his upcoming tour as writing, "My focus right now is solely on this new project out and this Live Show Killa Tour starting Nov. 26th."
That wasn't the end though. After DaBaby came with his side of the story, Dani took to her own Instagram account to rant against her baby daddy. She blasted the "Suge" MC for calling cops on her as she refused to talk to the officers in a video.
"Stupid a** n***a. Where's he at?" she said, seemingly looking for DaBaby. "He wanna call the f**king cop?" When the cops tried to talk to her, she responded, "No, I don't need to tell you nothing. You can talk to him 'cause he wanna call you guys." She added of her ex, "B***h a** n***a."
Dani later went on Live during which she ranted against DaBaby. "You're a f**king coward. You're a motherf**king coward. God damn, bro. And it's unfortunate this s**t is on the Internet," she said on the camera.
It's unclear what triggered the fight between the ex-lovers, but Dani recently announced that she unfollowed everyone on Instagram "to focus on myself."
