The 'Isn't It Romantic' actress, who dubbed herself 'a bit more of a conservative girl,' reveals that she dated a few people over the summer, but is still looking for the right person.

AceShowbiz - Rebel Wilson has deleted her dating app and hopes to spend a little time solo after her "hot girl summer". The "Bridesmaids" star reveals she dated a lot earlier this year (2021) but didn't find her soulmate and now she's taking a time out from romance.
"I was doing a thing called 'Hot Girl Summer' - I heard about it in rap songs - and I was like, 'This sounds fun,' " she tells People. "It wasn't really me. I'm a bit more of a conservative girl, normally. I did date a few people over the summer and I had a really nice time but I'm currently single and looking for the right person."
Rebel is still hoping to find love after splitting from boyfriend Jacob Busch at the beginning of the year. "From every relationship, you learn stuff all about yourself and what you're looking for," she adds. "I haven't quite met my match just yet, but here's hoping..."
"If there's a good social event or something, and I feel like there might be interesting people there, I'll make the effort to go. But at the moment, I'm taking a break and just trying to see if it happens organically in real life or through friend setups or something."
She also revealed she was on a dating app, but deleted her profile. "I got too much attention, so I'm not on anymore," she explains.
In February, Rebel talked about her breakup with Jacob. In an interview with "Extra", she admitted, "Any kind of break-up is hard and not ideal. I feel like, I don't know if it's turning 40 or coming into your own - I feel in a really good place."
