'The Wendy Williams Show' host is reportedly 'not getting worse' and 'making her own decisions' as she continues to recover from 'serious' health complications.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is reportedly on the mend. "The Wendy Williams Show" host, who has battled multiple health issues since September, is "getting better" after she told her loyal fans she will return to her daytime show as soon as she's ready.

"Wendy is making her own decisions as she sees fits," a source told Us Weekly of the daytime diva, whose recent health struggles have kept her absent from season 13 of the talkshow. "She's getting better. She's not getting worse. That's encouraging."

Previously, Wendy finally addressed her absence from "The Wendy Williams Show" in a statement to her fans via Instagram. "HOW YOU DOIN'? I MISS YOU ALL! As everyone knows, my health has been a hot topic. I'm making progress but it's just one of those things that's taking longer than we expected," she began.

"I'm a woman of a certain age, and I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I'm ready," Wendy, who was photographed being escorted in a wheelchair recently, continued. "I want to thank all of my staff and our guest hosts for stepping up and stepping in while I can't be there."

Wendy added, "I also want to thank Debmar-Mercury and our stations for being so understanding and supportive while I work my way back." The 57-year-old TV hostess then thanked her fans as saying, "Most of all, I want to thank my fans. I have heard your prayers and comments and feel all the love!"

"You are everything to me," Wendy concluded her statement. "I love spending my mornings with you all and I'm doing everything I can to get back to work, but right now Wendy has to focus on Wendy. I love you for watching."

Followers took to the comment section of the post to write loving words to the media personality. One user wrote, "Not the same without you Wendy! You're a legend and that becomes more evident every time someone tries to do your job!! Get well soon girl [love]." Another said, "Take care of you. [love] we will be here," while a third writing, "We will wait til you're strong & healthy Wendy!"
