While continuing to take time away from her talk show to focus on her ailing health, 'The Wendy Williams Show' host is seen being wheeled from her apartment into a black SUV.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is continuing to recover from "serious" health complications. In her first sighting after more than one month, "The Wendy Williams Show", who appeared sick, was spotted being escorted in a wheelchair.

On Tuesday, November 2, the 57-year-old TV personality was seen being wheeled from her Manhattan home into a black SUV. In photos obtained by Daily Mail, she paired a camel-colored coat with black pants, sneakers, a white handbag and went incognito with dark shades and a mask. An unidentified man was spotted helping her to the car, where she pulled herself up and into the vehicle.

The sighting came as ratings of "The Wendy Williams Show" were up. As reported, the daytime show's ratings are up 33% as fill-in hosts like Leah Remini, Whitney Cummings and Sherri Shepherd replaced Wendy on stage during her absence.

According to Wendy's team, she continued to be under medical supervision and met with her medical team on a daily basis. It's also announced that she will not be returning to her own show until at least November 22.

The announcement went on saying that Wendy "is making progress but is experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves' Disease and her thyroid condition." The statement further stated, "It has been determined that more time is needed before she is able to return to her live hosting duties."

Despite the show's ratings going up, Wendy's fans previously expressed their disapproval as the show continued to air without the daytime diva. "Just call me when Sis is back in the purple chair," one Instagram user wrote, while another commented, "Not the same without Wendy."

"No WENDY, no show, praying for her," a third chimed in, while a fourth expressed, "Ya need to bring WENDY BACK! This ain't it," adding the trash can emoji. A separate critic also said, "This won't work. Wendy needs to come to work or retire because this happens a lot. Hope Wendy is recovering and I wish her the best."
