Amara La Negra 'Excited' to Be Pregnant With Twins After Suffering Miscarriage

Hours after sharing the happy news, the 'Love and Hip Hop: Miami' star treats her Instagram followers to some maternity pictures in which she poses alongside her mother.

AceShowbiz - Amara La Negra is going to be a mom. A few weeks after revealing that she suffered a miscarriage, the "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" star announced that she's now expecting twins.

The pregnant VH1 personality broke the happy news via Instagram on Thursday, November 4. Sharing a picture of her holding a pregnancy test and sonograms. "I am so excited to finally share that we have twins on the way! Thank you @clearblue for being a part of our journey and giving me the most amazing news!" she gushed.

"There is nothing better than seeing the word PREGNANT!" she added. "Even though I'm scared and nervous, especially after having a miscarriage, I am also excited and have a roller coaster of emotions but it truly is a Blessing #ClearblueConfirmed #ClearbluePartner #RainbowBaby."

Amara later unleashed some maternity photos in which she posed alongside her mother. In one of the snaps, she wrote, "I will Protect My Children By All means Necessary! I am a Warrior for my Babies.. I am a Strong Woman and I learned it from my Mother! The One and ONLY who never leaves My Side My Mother @mamianalamama1 Thank you For Protecting me and Being My eyes. I wouldn’t be able to do this Without you! My Guardian Angel!!! I love you so much!"

The announcement arrived just a few weeks after Amara divulged that she had a miscarriage. "I wanted to be open and Honest Because I am an open book! My life is my Journey and there isn't a guide book on how to live your life. I'm just trying to figure this out like everyone else. I know many woman and families can relate to my pain," she first shared in a since-deleted Instagram post.

"Back on July I Found out I was pregnant. I didn't even know or suspected being pregnant because I took all the Measures to prevent it, however 2 weeks after missing my period I started bleeding, having really bad cramps!" she further elaborated. "Blood clogs, I had no idea what was going on I figured it was Maybe it was the Fibroids I have in my ovaries acting up which Iv never spoken about either. Just to find out I was having a miscarriage."

"I cried for days cause I really did want to have that baby! I'm not getting any younger and Iv always been afraid of waiting too long til it's too late," the singer/actress concluded. "Iv always wanted to start my own little family and also seeing how my moms health isn't that great I want my children to enjoy having a grandmother because I never had one."
