AceShowbiz - Cordae (YBN Cordae) is looking different and better now. Debuting his slimmed-down figure after a weight loss journey, the "Have Mercy" rapper left fans gushing over his new toned physique.

On Tuesday, November 2, the 24-year-old emcee took to Instagram to post some before-and-after pictures of himself. In the accompanying message, he wrote, "While creating this forthcoming album, I was forced to elevate myself in mind, body, and spirit."

"I've become more self-reflective and self aware than ever. While my vessel has improved, it's nothing compared to my mind, spirit and soul which has reached even greater heights," the YBN member added. "Still growing, still getting better day by day. #FromaBirdsEyeView #HiLevel."

Cordae has since received compliments from many of his famous friends. One in particular was Common, who gushed, "Great work! Health is wealth." Pianist Robert Glasper exclaimed, "Yesssir!" Songwriter Gizzle said, "Let's go lil bro. I'm proud of you." Meanwhile, LVRN lyricist Westside Boogie raved, "Amazing bro."

Cordae's online devotees also praised him for his achievement. "Even the braids got skinnier !! Jokes aside, mad respect bro, Keep at it," one user commented. "Congrats brother !! Love the music and progress," another individual added, with one noting, "look at cordae man so inspirational."

The body transformation came just a few months after Cordae announced his new record label, Hi Level. When speaking to Billboard in June, he shared, "I looked at the genuine relationships that I've been able to build these last couple of years, and realized I already have enough moving parts to create an extremely successful label."

For "The Lost Boy" artist, the label demonstrates how far he's come in the music industry within just a few years. "At the beginning of 2018 when I was working at TGI Friday's, I was like 'Yo, this my last year working for someone,' and I haven't worked for anybody ever since," he pointed out. "Hi Level just embodies that for me."
