The 'Empire State of Mind' hitmaker launches his official account on the photo-sharing platform just days after he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

AceShowbiz - Jay-Z is finally on Instagram. When launching his official account on the photo-sharing platform, the "Empire State of Mind" hitmaker shared a poster of his new film as his first post ever.

The 51-year-old Roc-A-Fella co-founder made his Instagram debut on Tuesday, November 2. Alongside the poster, he simply wrote the title of the Western movie, "The Harder They Fall".

Jay-Z already has 1.4 million followers on Instagram. Meanwhile, he is only following one person, none other than his R&B star wife, Beyonce Knowles. The "Reasonable Doubt" artist is also the only one whom Beyonce followed on the platform.

About "The Harder They Fall", it is produced by Jay-Z and stars Idris Elba, Regina King and Zazie Beetz, among others. The film's soundtrack includes two collaborations between the hip-hop mogul and Kid Cudi as well as Conway the Machine and Jadakiss.

"When outlaw Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck (Idris Elba) is being released from prison he rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge," so read the synopsis. "Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Stagecoach Mary (Zazie Beetz), his right and left hand men - hot-tempered Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler) - and a surprising adversary-turned-ally."

The movie arrived in theaters on October 22. It will hit giant streaming service Netflix on Wednesday.

Jay-Z joined Instagram just days after he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. During his acceptance speech in the October 30 event, he thanked his Roc-A-Fella co-founders, Dame Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke despite his legal dispute with Dame.

"Shout out to Dame [Dash]; I know we don't see eye to eye, but I can never erase your accomplishments, and I appreciate you and thank you for that," the father of Blue Ivy stated. "And shout out to [Kareem 'Biggs' Burke], he's one of the most honorable people I've ever met. We created something that will probably never be duplicated."
