AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's relationship remains platonic, at least for now, though they have been pictured holding hands. The reality TV star and the comedian are reportedly "just friends" though they appeared to be getting cozy during a Halloween outing.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum and the "Saturday Night Live" cast member sparked dating rumors after they were spotted with their hands intertwined at Knott's Scary Farm in California on Friday, October 29. They were holding hands while riding a rollercoaster with friends, closing their eyes and screaming on the thrilling ride.
However, PEOPLE which published the pictures of the two stars during the night out was also quick to offer a clarification. "They hang in the same circles so they will be together from time to time," a source tells the site about Kim and Pete. "It's just friends hanging out."
Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian and her fiance Travis Barker were also spotted joining the group during the fun night out. Pete and Travis reportedly know each other through their mutual friend Machine Gun Kelly.
Despite the clarification that they're "just friends," the pictures have stirred up Twitter. "the possibility of kim kardashian and pete davidson being together…we're really living in unprecedented times," a shocked user commented.
Another commented, "Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian is not something I saw coming but here we are…" A third was also surprised as saying, "the way i audibly GASPED reading this at my fathers 72nd birthday dinner and he asked me what and I had no way to explain #KimKardashian #PeteDavidson."

Prior to their Halloween weekend outing, Kim and Pete made jaw drop with their scene in a "Saturday Night Live" sketch. The two shared a kiss in the skit, in which the 41-year-old socialite played Princess Jasmine and the 27-year-old comedian portrayed Aladdin, during Kim's "SNL" hosting debut on October 9.
