The former One Direction singer has reportedly been axed from RCA Records following claims he's been increasingly smoking 'extremely strong' cannabis amid Yolanda Hadid harassment scandal.

AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik hasn't just lost his girlfriend Gigi Hadid. The former One Direction singer has also reportedly been dropped from his record label, RCA Records, following marijuana claims after he allegedly "struck" Yolanda Hadid.

On Friday, October 29, a source spilled to The Sun that the 28-year-old singer was ditched by his record label after people close to him said that he's been increasingly smoking "extremely strong" cannabis. "He's reached the end of the line with them, just as with so many other people before now, managers, agents, label executives," the source added.

"He's a talent with good looks and lots of fans. But he's just too much," the so-called inside source explained. "Unfortunately, everyone who has tried to rein him in over the years has found it too much."

The insider went on to say that Zayn "is so determined in his behavior, some fear he won't be satisfied until his career prospects are totally finished." The informant lamented, "He's almost impossible to control or guide. A while ago his label quietly decided it was the end of the line for their relationship, and now this," referring to his alleged altercation with Yolanda.

"A lot of people have tried desperately to get Zayn's life and career back on track, but nothing has worked," the source claimed. "So many people who have worked with him have just given up. He's almost impossible to control or guide."

The news came after it's revealed that Zayn, who "adamantly" denied the accusations, had pleaded no contest to four counts of harassment after allegedly pushing Yolanda into a dresser. The "Pillowtalk" crooner also allegedly called "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum a "f**king Dutch s*ut" and ordered her to "stay away from [his] f**king daughter" in September during a heated argument at the home, which he shares with Gigi in Pennsylvania.

After the alleged incident, a source told PEOPLE that "there's no love lost between Yolanda and Zayn." A friend of Zayn also informed the publication that Zayn and Gigi's relationship "was a super toxic" one. The twosome reportedly called it quits shortly after the heated exchange.

In the meantime, a family friend close to the supermodel claimed that "Zayn has a complicated personality" and "It's been hard at times for Gigi to live with him." The source added, "They are both good parents though. They co-parent," before noting that Yolanda "has had some issues with Zayn." The insider added, "[Yolanda] thinks he could treat Gigi better. This is creating conflicts between Yolanda and Zayn."
