AceShowbiz - Alice Evans could hardly accept the fact that Ioan Gruffud has found a new love in another woman. After her estranged husband debuted a new girlfriend on social media, the Esther Mikaelson depicter on "The Vampire Diaries" accused him of cheating on her during their marriage.
Gruffud confirmed his new romance via Instagram. Sharing a picture of him and Bianca Wallace smiling together on set, he wrote, "Thank you for making me smile again @iambiancawallace." Bianca also posted the same snap on her own page, noting, "I know real smiles when I see them."
Having caught wind of her estranged husband's relationship, Evans wrote in a since-deleted tweet, "So it turns out that my husband, after two years of telling me I'm a bad person and I'm not exciting and he no longer want so to have sex with me and he just wants to be on set abroad...Has been in a relationship for THREE years behind all our backs." She added, "Good luck, Bianca."
While the new couple has yet to address the cheating allegations, a friend of the Australian native came to her defense. "I have personally known Bianca for years and they have NOT even known each other for three years let alone have an affair!!"
However, Evans fired back, saying that the friend was "spitting on the victim." She added, "You totally and absolutely know that they started seeing each other before he told me he didn't love me and wanted a divorce. If you want to get into this we can."
This arrived months after Evans, who married Gruffud in 2007, declared on Twitter that her husband of 13 years left her and their kids. "Sad news. My beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years, Ioan Gruffudd, has announced he is to leave his family, starting next week," she penned in a since-deleted tweet.
"Me and our young daughters girls are very confused and sad," the mother of two went on noting in the January 26 post. "We haven't been given a reason except that he 'no longer loves me.' I'm so sorry."
The "Fantastic Four" actor later issued a joint statement with his ex, saying, "As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children… Thank you for respecting our privacy." He then filed for divorce in March.
