During an interview with her 'Eternals' co-star Salma Hayek, the Thena depicter is asked how her children feel about her relationship with the Canadian crooner.

AceShowbiz - Since her split from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie's love relationship or lack thereof has always piqued the interest of public. Thus, dating rumors are inevitable after she was caught on several outings with The Weeknd. During a press tour for her new movie "Eternals", the actress has faced her first question about her relationship with the Canadian star.
In a video published on Tuesday, October 26, the Academy Award winner sat down with her co-star Salma Hayek for an interview on E! News' "Daily Pop". At one point, the interviewer couldn't help asking the actress how her children feel about her newfound connection with the "Save Your Tears" crooner.
"Now, I have to know," the host began, "because Angelina, your kids are at the age where they have opinions, so I have to know, were they more excited that you were in 'The Eternals', or that you are friends with The Weeknd?"
Looking uncomfortable, Angelina refused to talk about her relationship with The Weeknd as saying, "They're very excited about this film, if that's what you're asking." She then turned to Salma who sat next to her before repeating, "They're very excited about this film."
Angelina has attended several red carpet events for "Eternals" with some of her children, who recycled her old dresses. When asked if there's any gown that she wouldn't let her daughters wear, she responded, "I'm the opposite. I'm like, 'Oh, my God, wear it. Wear it better than me. Take it. It's your turn.' I'm that mom."
Angelina, who has been embroiled in custody battle with her ex Brad Pitt over their children, first sparked dating rumors with The Weeknd in July after they were spotted enjoying dinner together in Los Angeles.
Most recently, they were caught walking out of an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, Giorgio Baldi, side-by-side. During the September 25 outing, the two reportedly spent two and a half hours inside a private section of the eatery. The twosome was seen hopping into the backseat of the Oscar-nominated songwriter's waiting black SUV. They then drove to his $70M Bel-Air mansion.
While they remain mum on the status of their relationship, a source has told E! News, "They are not dating." The insider added, "They have mutual interests and are enjoying putting their ideas together to see what they can come up with."
On what their meetings were about, the so-called inside source claimed that Angelina and The Weeknd "have been recently talking about partnering on a few humanitarian projects together." The insider noted, "He loves talking about movies and the art form."
