The 'Succession' star, who secretly married the comedian in the backyard of her New York home in February, additionally recalls the moment she decided to ask him to marry her.

AceShowbiz - "Succession" star Sarah Snook did not expect to fall in love with her best friend, comedian Dave Lawson, much less marry him.
The Australian actress revealed earlier this month that she secretly married Dave in the backyard of her home in Brooklyn, New York, in February, after she popped the question to him.
"Both of us cringe about the 'I'm so happy, I married my best friend' (aspect of our relationship). We're like, 'Oh God, are we one of those people?' But it works so well," she told Britain's "This Morning".
She also talked about the moment she decided to get down on one knee and ask him to marry her. "It was that or nothing," she explained. "It was like, 'I've got to be in. I'm all in and I'm here.' "
Snook and her new husband are still astonished they've fallen for each other. "We're very blindsided by it, we fell in love and it was the only option - we couldn't be apart," she said.
Confirming the wedding to Vogue Australia earlier this month, she said, "At the beginning of the pandemic last year, I got locked down in Melbourne with one of my best mates and we fell in love. We've been friends since 2014, lived together, travelled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic."
Being locked down together made them realize their true feelings. "We've just never been single at the same time. It's been a ride. There's so much heartache and sadness in the world, but on a micro personal level, I've been very fortunate."
