The Coldplay frontman gives his dedication to Benjamin Storm Keough when performing at Audacy's 8th Annual We Can Survive event from the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Riley Keough let Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin know how much she appreciates their "surprise." Upon learning that the Coldplay frontman honored her late brother with "Yellow" at his concert, the "Zola" actress took to social media to thank him and his girlfriend.

On Sunday, October 24, the 32-year-old made use of Instagram to post the band's performance the evening prior at Audacy's 8th Annual We Can Survive event from the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The clip saw Chris singing the hit song and dedicating it to her brother, Benjamin Storm Keough.

"We're playing this for our friend Benjamin Storm," the English musician told concertgoers. "Wherever you are right now, we're sending this song all the way to you."

In the caption of the footage, Riley wrote, "@coldplay dedicated 'Yellow' to my brother tonight at @wecansurvivela. I wasn't ready for it but it was such a beautiful surprise." She then added, "And me love you @dakotajohnson and credit and thank you to whoever captured this video."

Riley's brother Benjamin died in July 2020 at the age of 27 after he allegedly locked himself in the bathroom of the Presleys' Calabasas home with a shotgun. He was found "suffering from one gunshot wound" and was pronounced dead at the scene.

In July this year, "The Girlfriend Experience" star opened up about her grieving process. "[Last year feels] like I was thrown into the ocean and couldn't swim," she told The New York Times. "The first four or five months, I couldn't get out of bed. I was totally debilitated. I couldn't talk for two weeks."

"It's very complicated for our minds to put that somewhere because it's so outrageous," the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough went on. "If I'm going through a breakup, I know what to do with that and where to file it in my mind, but suicide of your brother? Where do you put that? How does that integrate? It just doesn't."
