The 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' hitmaker has wowed the Blondie member with her rendition of classic hit 'Heart of Glass' during a segment on her talk show.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson impressed Debbie Harry with a cover of Blondie's "Heart of Glass".

The singer often performs tracks by her favourite artists as part of her hit U.S. talk show's "Kellyoke" segment, and the "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" star belted out the new wave classic this week (begs18Oct21).

Flexing her vocal chops, Kelly belted out the classic track from the group's 1978 album "Parallel Lines" - and Debbie was particularly impressed by the rendition.

Sharing the clip on Twitter, she penned on the official Blondie page, "Here for this."

Last year (20), Harry outed herself as a fan of another high profile cover of her classic hit after Miley Cyrus hit headlines with her take on the tune.

She said at the time, "I thought (Miley) did a great job and I liked the way the performance looked and she's a force to be reckoned with. I'm really proud of the fact she did our song and made it uniquely hers."

Blondie recently announced a Christmas single called "Yuletide Throwdown", a revamp of their 1980 hit "Rapture".

Before celebrating festive season with their new music, the band are scheduled to hit the road for a ten-date arena tour in U.K. with Garbage as an opening act.

Member Chris Stein, however, said earlier this month that he feared he would no longer be able to tour with the band after suffering a heart issue.

"I don't know if I'm going to be participating in touring going forward," he told NME.com. "I just have some heart bulls**t. I take medicine for it that's a little fatiguing. It's an irregular heartbeat. It's not super-serious, but it's just tiring and I don't have the stamina I did when I was 30 or 40."
