The 'Christina on the Coast' star says that if she doesn't eat 'super clean,' she will get 'a horrible burning sensation' when revealing that she's been suffering from stomach pain since 2016.

AceShowbiz - Christina Haack (Christina El Moussa) is getting real about her health issue. In a new social media post, the "Christina on the Coast" star says that she's praying everything is fine after undergoing a full endoscopy test following "extreme stomach pain."

"I've suffered on and off since 2016 with extreme stomach pain," the 38-year-old star unveiled her medical concern in a candid Instagram post she shared on Thursday, October 21. Alongside her selfie, she wrote, "It has been written off as stress and doctors have tried to put me on all the pills / meds but luckily I realized masking it wasn't the answer."

Christina said, "I wanted to fix the problem so I really focused on my nutrition." The TV personality, who starred on "Flip or Flop" alongside her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, added that her health scare "seemed to get better but then last year it was triggered again and all of a sudden the stomach pain was back."

"I finally found the right doctor who didn't just tell me to take Acid Controllers… Last week he did a full endoscopy and GI testing for SIBO," Christina shared. "Now just praying everything comes back ok and some rounds of antibiotics will kill off whatever bacteria it is that's damaging my GI tract."

Elsewhere in her lengthy caption, Christina further explained that "with autoimmune, anxiety can cause major flare ups and [her] biggest thing [she's] notice being affected is [her] digestion / gut health." She stressed, "Basically if I don't eat SUPER clean I get a horrible burning sensation."

Christina also took the opportunity to remind people of their health. "I've talked to a lot of people about this and just want to advocate how important it is to trust your own health instincts and not ignore things going on in your body," she added.

Christina then concluded her post by noting that she's now "focusing on getting back to taking care of myself, mind, body and spirit." The HGTV star, who announced her engagement to her now-fiance Joshua Hall in September, also added that she's focusing on her "favorite things in life" which are "quality time with the kids and one-on-one time with [her] man."
