AceShowbiz - Noel Gallagher is behind his ongoing feud with brother Liam Gallagher. The Oasis rockers have remained at loggerheads amid their ongoing dispute since the "Wonderwall" group split in 2009, with Noel now revealing the true events that led to the breakup of the band.
Speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper, the 54-year-old rocker explained things went awry after he dumped clothes gifted to him by Liam from his Pretty Green line in a charity shop.
"Liam gave us a load of clobber, not just me, he gave the band it," said Noel. "I went straight to the charity shop and left it in the shop doorway."
"He went f**king mental. He said, 'If you didn't f**king want it, you should have just said you didn't f**king want it, you ****.' It was on the shop mannequin in Barnardo's a month before it launched. If push comes to shove, that was the beginning of the end."
Noel previously blamed Liam's behavior for the split in 2009, insisting, "I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."
The pair split after their ongoing feud came to a head backstage before a gig in Paris, France in 2009 - 18 years after starting the group.
Noel is currently working as a solo artist. While he was well aware his solo music would never be as "culturally significant" as his work with Oasis, he claimed that he wasn't pressured.
"A lot of people work themselves into a paralysis about writing music - I don't really think about it too much. If it feels good to me, I'll put it out," he said on Britain's "The One Show" back in June. "Obviously, I've let go of the nineties and I'm never going to write things as culturally significant as that – and I'm cool with that. You can only do what you do to make yourself happy in the current moment and that's what I'm doing, and whatever will be after that is up to other people to decide."
