The former member of Destiny's Child and the 'Empire State of Mind' hitmaker come across each other when they attend 'The Harder They Fall' premiere in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Rowland was left baffled after her recent interaction with Jay-Z at "The Harder They Fall" premiere went viral. When addressing the matter, the former Destiny's Child member admitted that she will "never understand" what's the big deal about it.

The 40-year-old singer, who met the hip-hop mogul on the red carpet of the movie premiere in Los Angeles, offered her two cents during an Instagram Live. "You know, some things I will never understand. I see my big bro all the time but I guess you guys don't see what we see," she said while putting her makeup on.

Kelly and Jay-Z came across each other on Wednesday, October 13. In a video surfacing online, the husband of Beyonce Knowles was seen heading inside the building. He, however, pulled a 180 as soon as he saw Kelly. He then ran over her and gave her a warm hug.

Many on Twitter have since reacted to the clip. One user wrote, "This the most expressive I've seen him and he been famous for 25 years lmaooo." Another, meanwhile, jokingly tweeted, "When you about to leave the family function, but they bring out a fresh pan of mac & cheese."

That aside, Kelly also made use of her Instagram Live to share her review of the new movie, which is produced by Jay-Z and stars Idris Elba and Regina King. "I am not of course paid to say anything about the movie but, this movie is so good, 'The Harder They Fall', and what's so dope is it's directed, written, created by a brilliant Black man and produced by a brilliant Black man, and it's so exciting," she gushed.

"Everything from the moment it starts, the beauty of the screen, the cinematography, the styling, the acting, the effects, it's just effing killer," the mother of two went on saying. "You're gonna love it."
