The father of Willow Smith and Jaden Smith, who flaunted his dad bod in May, takes to his social media account to post a video of him doing a series of workouts.

AceShowbiz - Will Smith could not be more proud after bidding farewell to his dad bod. A few months after claiming that he had been in the "worst shape" of his life, the "Suicide Squad" actor took to social media to show off his new toned physique.

Making use of Instagram on Sunday, October 17, the 53-year-old hunk posted a video that showed him getting out of bed. He then went to the gym and did a series of workouts, including weight lifting, pull-ups and running track.

In the caption of the post, the father of Willow Smith and Jaden Smith wrote, "And to think Sundays used to be for muffins #bestshapeofmylife."

Will has since gained praises from his fans. "He's back," one user gushed, while another raved, "This is EVERYTHING." A third individual then chimed in, "Love this man.. Life on his terms..."

The transformation came a few months after Will told his fans that he was in the "worst shape" of his life. On May 2, he shared on Instagram a photo of himself standing under a tree in an unzipped jacket while wearing a pair of black underwear and slippers. "I'm gonna be real wit yall - I'm in the worst shape of my life," he captioned the snap.

Will has mostly been known for having a muscular body as he starred in a number of action films. In a 2016 interview with Men's Journal, the Deadshot depicter in "Suicide Squad" got candid about his struggle to get in shape to play his character.

"When you're 47 years old, no injury is a mild injury anymore... I was stepping back to throw a blow, and my calf popped. Everyone heard it. The doctor there told me that I was going to be down for six weeks, but I couldn't allow that," he explained.
