AceShowbiz - Patrick Mahomes' brother might have regretted his recent action. After he posted a video of himself dancing on Sean Taylor's memorial logo, Jackson Mahomes issued his apology, claiming that it was "accidental."

The 21-year-old expressed his remorse via Twitter on Sunday, October 17. "I want to sincerely apologize for accidentally being on the Sean Taylor #21 at FedEx Field. We were directed to stand in that area and I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family," he tweeted.

Jackson drew backlash from NFL fans after sharing the said clip on TikTok. At that time, his big brother's Kansas City Chiefs played the Washington Football Team at FedExField in Washington, D.C.

In the footage, Jackson was seen being in between the ropes that should prohibit anyone from stepping in. However, some pictures circulating online showed that he was not the only one in the roped-off area.

Despite his blunder, Jackson still could find support in Patrick's fiancee, Brittany Matthews. After he issued his apology, the 26-year-old businesswoman retweeted the post.

One month prior, Jackson was caught pouring a bottle of water on a rowdy fan from a higher suite at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore after the Chiefs' loss. A clip documenting the incident has since gone viral, prompting him to tweet, "They were thirsty."

Also reacting to the video was Jackson's older brother, Patrick. "Obviously, it's something we don't want to necessarily do," the athlete said during a press conference in September.

There was things said to him, and Brittany, that you don't see kind of on the clip. But, I mean he's been good at it, at not trying to respond to that stuff," he further noted. "He takes a lot and he's usually pretty good at it. And he'll learn from it and just try to stay away from those people as best he can."
