Stressing that the October 6 report 'was completely untrue', the actress portraying Shuri in the MCU franchise assures that her main focus is 'always do work that's impactful and inspiring.'

AceShowbiz - Actress Letitia Wright has denied reports she's promoting an anti-vaccine agenda on the set of the "Black Panther" sequel.
She was named among the stars who have publicly spoken out against COVID-19 vaccines in a recent The Hollywood Reporter article, with a source telling the trade publication the Brit had questioned the validity of vaccines on the set in Atlanta, Georgia. But she insists the report is "completely untrue."
"It saddens me to have to address the reports published by The Hollywood Reporter on October 6th 2021," Wright posts on Instagram. "The report spoke about my conduct on the set of 'Black Panther 2'. I honestly assert that this was completely untrue."
"Anyone who knows me or has worked with me, knows that I work incredibly hard at my craft & my main focus is always to do work that's impactful and inspiring," the 27-year-old further stressed. "That has been & will continue to be my only focus."
"I will continue to hold onto Gods hands, and onto the scripture of Isaiah 54:17. I continue to focus on my healing. Thank you for your prayers," she noted in conclusion. "And I continue to pray for Gods love, peace & joy for you all."
The post was Wright's first after quitting social media in December 2020 over backlash she received for sharing a video questioning the legitimacy of Covid-19 vaccines. Before making the move, she defended her her decision to post the anti-vaxxer video.
"My intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies," she tweeted at the time. "Nothing else."
