According to British newspaper The Independent, the 26-year-old, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, spent Thursday (8Jul21) night in custody as police questioned him.

French officials told the publication he was fined before he was released on Friday morning. The amount of the fine has not been made public.

After his release, the rapper posted on Instagram "I'm Good" and said he was heading back to the U.S.

He was with NBA star James Harden at the time of his arrest but the basketball player, who was searched on the street by police, wasn't arrested or suspected of any crime.

Both celebrities were in the city to attend Paris Fashion Week.

The duo posted on Instagram pictures from their outing in Paris. In one of them, they were joined by Lewis Hamilton.

The British racing driver also dropped by Eiffel tower while in the city. "A city that inspires. Where should I visit while I am here?" so he asked his online followers.
