AceShowbiz - More details about Marvel Studios' first-ever animated series "What If...?" have made their way out online. Fans are treated to a new trailer, which was unveiled on Thursday, July 8, offering better looks at the massive characters in the MCU.

Kicking off the trailer is Tony Stark, who is being attacked before Erik Killmonger appears to save him. The members of Guardians of the Galaxy also make an appearance. The new video also features Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Thanos and more with a wide array of MCU veterans returning to voice their characters.

Among the voice cast are Hayley Atwell as Captain Peggy Carter, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Meanwhile, Toby Jones voices Arnim Zola. Other cast members include Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, Michael Rooker as Yondu Udonta, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Sebastian Stan as James Barnes, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, Stanley Tucci as Abraham Erskine and Taika Waititi as Korg. Late actor Chadwick Boseman also lent his voice, though he played Star Lord instead of T'Challa a.k.a Black Panther, his character in Marvel movies.

"What If...?" is based on the long-running Marvel Comics series of the same name. The show is set to feature parallel universes as the trailer teases about the "multiverse of infinite possibilities."

"What If...?" will be released on August 11 on DisneyPlus.
