AceShowbiz - Maren Morris reacted to a hater who criticized the way she dresses herself. The country songtress didn't waste time to shut down a slut-shamer who left a distasteful comment underneath a picture that she shared on Twitter on Wednesday, July 7.

Maren treated her online devotees to a stunning picture of her donning a stunning silver cover up for a promotional tour photo. The photo apparently didn't sit well with one user, who then slammed Maren for her choice of outfit.

"@MarenMorris when you dress like that, you're definitely inviting people to look at you in a sexual way," the troll, who goes by the name Daniel Ducote, wrote to the Grammy-winning artist in a now-deleted tweet. "Don't complain about being sexualized when you sexualize yourself."

She noticed the tweet and decided to further provoke the hater by sharing more raunchy pictures of herself. In a follow-up tweet, the "Better Than We Found It" songstress posted some snaps featuring her stripping down to nothing but a pair of pants, boots and a cowgirl hat. "Daniel's really gonna hate it when he finds out I did Playboy," she joked in the caption.

The wife of Ryan Hurd added, "He publicly put this sexist rubbish on-line and @ me. Also, 'not liking somebody's clothes' is one factor. Saying I need to be sexualized for a *fairly tame* outfit is only a hop, skip to 'do not costume like a slut and you will not get creeped on.' "

This isn't the first time for Maren to defend herself from slut-shamers. In an interview with Playboy magazine back in 2019, she explained, "The factor about me is, I make music for myself."

She continued, "I learned later that it touches others, which is the most wonderful byproduct of a songwriter’s calling. Some can slut-shame me for my lyrics about sex, ad you can put me in your little box, but I just want to live and love. I recently accepted myself and will put these photos in a frame because I'll never have this moment back."
