The former contestant of 'The X-Factor U.K.' claims her 'music team' prevented her from undergoing a procedure to have cancerous cells removed and banned her from talking to her kids.

AceShowbiz - Rebecca Ferguson has claimed her "music team" stopped her from having a procedure to have cancerous cells removed.
The 34-year-old singer - who rose to fame after finishing as runner-up on Britain's "The X Factor" in 2010 alongside One Direction - is working on a documentary about the industry and shared a series of allegations on Twitter which included claims that she was prevented from receiving medical treatment because of the recovery time involved, stopped from speaking to her children, and she had her food and drink intake controlled.
In a lengthy thread, she wrote, "I was not allowed to have cancerous cells removed My team said there is no time too because I needed 10 days recovery! (sic)"
Elsewhere, she discussed she "was forced into a contract," "lived on limited food a day I was told when I could eat and drink," and calls to her children "were limited" with staff told "not to tell me or to ignore!"
Rebecca, who once dated former One Direction star Zayn Malik, also claimed her personal relationships were "dictated" and "staff were told to ruin my relationships or face being sacked!!"
She said she was placed on sleeping pills and pain medication, but denied medical care if she "collapsed due to extreme exhaustion" and was not given time off when she "lost a baby" even when she begged for it.
The "Glitter and Gold" singer also alleged her team told her to "do as we f****** say" when she wanted to visit her ill mother, and she that she was "forced to have intense media training" which she described as "being brainwashed."
The star claimed her experiences are "one of many" and she wants alleged victims to "have their voices heard."
She added, "My story is one of many the many victims deserve to have their stories aired not blocked and not silenced!"
"I don't care who they care or what legacy they want to maintain their victims deserve to have their voices heard!! #justiceforartists. (sic)"
Following her appearance on "The X Factor", Ferguson signed a joint deal to Simon Cowell's label Syco Records and Epic, where she released her debut album the next year. It peaked at number three in the charts, making her the fastest-selling debut solo artist from the years 2007 to 2017.
She has also released music via RCA and Columbia Records.
