AceShowbiz - Comedian Pete Davidson has around two more years of laser treatment before all of his tattoos will be fully removed.
"The King of Staten Island" star has covered his body in skin art over the years, but decided to start having the inkings lasered off in 2020, as he began to secure more acting gigs.
However, Ariana Grande's ex is only able to undergo the painful sessions every few months, while in between projects, and as a result, he doesn't expect to be free of his tattoos until 2023.
Davidson is shown having some of his arm designs removed in a new smartwater commercial, in which he explained, "I've made a lot of questionable choices, and a couple of them need removing. But now I'm trying to make smarter choices, hydrating with smartwater and stuff like that."
In a chat with PeopleTV, Davidson opens up further about the lengthy tattoo removal process, which he hasn't had done in "about four or five months."
"We're shooting some stuff and it takes like, a month for it to heal. But like, it's pretty much off this hand," the funnyman shared, as he showed off the work in progress."
"I get my next treatment [in] like a month or so. They said by the time I'm 30, they should all be gone. So [I've] got like, two more years left of this."
Months earlier, Davidson revealed why he decided to undergo the procedure. During an appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers", he said, "I honestly never thought that I would get the opportunity to act and I love it a lot. You have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos, because for some reason, people in movies, they don't have them that much."
