During an appearance on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden', the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star blames his random proposal to his co-star on the sleeping pills he took to help him rest at night.

AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt once challenged his "Guardians of the Galaxy" co-star and retired wrestler Dave Bautista to a fight while drugged up on sleeping pills.

The "Jurassic World" actor used to rely on sleep aids to help him rest at night, but the medication would often cause him to "black out" and send random text messages to people, which he would have no recollection of the following morning.

One such incident involved former WWE star Bautista, who found Pratt's proposal hilarious.

Recalling the conversation with his pal, Pratt said, "The next day, [Bautista] goes, 'Hey man, that text you sent last night...,' and I go, 'What text?' He goes, 'You don't remember?' "

The revelation prompted Pratt to check his cell phone, and it was only then that he realized he'd challenged the muscle-bound action man to a wrestling match.

"Dave, I wanna wrestle you. I wanna wrestle you. No one needs to know, but I just wanna know," it read. "I think I could take you. I think I could wrestle you, bro. Like, collegiate rules, no elbows, no knees. I just wanna feel the power [sic]."

Pratt was "mortified" to have sent such a text, because he insists there would be no doubt who would emerge victorious.

"Dave would kill me so fast," he confessed on America's "The Late Late Show with James Corden". "He is by far the toughest dude in all of Hollywood."

Elsewhere in the interview, Pratt talked about how he and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger celebrated his birthday and their second wedding anniversary. "Kept it really low-key, I'm kind of a low-key birthday or celebration guy. We got In-N-Out Burger for our anniversary," he recalled. "She deserves the world, you know. So I got her In-N-Out. And a nice piece of jewelry."
