After shocking many of his followers and celebrity friends with his new appearance, the former star of 'Teen Wolf' reveals that he wears prosthetic makeup to conceal his eyebrows.

AceShowbiz - Colton Haynes has made people do a double-take when they saw his new photos. The "Teen Wolf" alum unveiled a completely different look in the jaw-dropping pictures he shared on his social media platform, showing off an eyebrow-less appearance.

On Thursday, July 1, the 32-year-old actor shared a series of his close-up car selfies that shocked his fans and followers on Instagram. In the shots, the "Love, Simon" actor could be seen posing with no eyebrows. "Hey besties! I had an epic day! Bye besties!" he captioned his post.

In the comment section, many of his followers questioned whether he really shaved his eyebrows. "Where are ur eyebrows?" one fan asked, while another joked, "His eyebrows said, 'Bye bestie!' " A different user quipped, "What water are you drinking Colton?"

Even some of his celebrity friends joined in to comment on his shocking new look. "Here for this tbh," actress Molly Burnett wrote. Meanwhile, "All My Children" star Leven Rambin added, "Livinggg." Celebrity fashion writer Derek Blasberg chimed in, "Do you call your eyebrows your besties?"

Former football player Nathan Palmer additionally wrote, " 'This is your man' tik tok instantly popped in my head." To this specific comment, Colton replied, "I'm lucky ur sticking beside me & won't apologize for having this odd personality trait lol."

Colton later explained why he showed off the eyebrow-less selfies. After "RuPaul's Drag Race" alum Gigi Goode responded to his post with a series of exclamation marks, the former star of "Arrow" revealed that he wore makeup to conceal his eyebrows. He confessed, "Still don't look half as goode as you do without brows but luckily it's just prosthetic makeup ha!"

Colton, who came out as gay in 2016, recently celebrated Pride Month. Marking the special occasion, the MTV star shared a rare picture of him posing shirtless with another man. "Being gay is worth celebrating," the proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community penned in his Instagram post.

"I wish I'd figured that out sooner, but I'm so glad I know it now," he continued sharing his thoughts. "To everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community, I hope you celebrate yourselves this month & always, exactly as you are."
