AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd might be the newest Hollywood couple. The "Maleficent" star and the "I Feel It Coming" hitmaker have sparked dating rumors after they were spotted enjoying dinner together in Los Angeles.
On Thursday, July 1, the 46-year-old actress and the 31-year-old musician were spotted leaving celebrity hot spot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, per reported by The Sun. The publication claimed that the twosome spent hours at the high-end Italian restaurant before leaving separately.
For the occasion, Angelina could be seen wearing a simple black silk dress and a tan trench coat. The Oscar-winning actress also wore a nude pair of heels, black face mask and carried a black YSL handbag. In the meantime, Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, opted to dress casually in a black T-shirt, matching denim pants and jacket, black combat boots and a silver chain.
About the night out, a source close to the "Can't Feel My Face" crooner told Page Six, "They're clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date]." The insider went on to add, "He's definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he's starring in."
The Weeknd will star in his new project, a HBO Max series "The Idol". The "Blinding Lights" singer is also co-writing the series, which "follows a female pop singer who starts a romance with an enigmatic L.A. club owner who is the leader of a secret cult," Variety reported. He will also be an executive producer on the series with Reza Fahim and "Euphoria" actor Sam Levinson.
The Weeknd has been romantically linked to famous ladies, including model Bella Hadid, fellow singers Selena Gomez and Rosalia. On the other hand, Angelina has been married three times before, to Jonny Lee Miller in 1996, Billy Bob Thornton in 2000 and Brad Pitt from 2014 to 2019.
While she has parted ways with Brad, Angelina is still embroiled in a nearly five-year-long custody battle with him over their children. The "Eternals" actress wanted sole custody, while the "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" actor was fighting for joint custody which he later won. She, however, was reported to vow that she "will never forgive" him.
