AceShowbiz - Tristan Thompson is still celebrating Khloe Kardashian's 37th birthday despite rumors of their split. Marking the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star's special day, the NBA player posted a loving tribute to his rumored ex-girlfriend which has since caused a stir on his social media account.
On Sunday, June 27, the 30-year-old athlete took to his Instagram page to share a sweet message to Khloe. Wishing her a happy birthday, the Boston Celtics player wrote in the caption, "Happy birthday @khloekardashian. Thank you for being not just an amazing partner, mommy and best friend but also being the kindest, caring and most loving human being I've ever met."
"Your love and spirit is contagious to all who've met you. Thank you for always being there for me and putting our family first," Tristan continued. He then concluded his note by expressing his love to Khloe, "I love you so much. Have an amazing day."
In his post, Tristan uploaded three throwback photos of him and the Good American founder looking affectionate and happy. The first saw him kissing the reality star sweetly at his 30th birthday party in March. The second picture showed him and the daughter of Kris Jenner cuddling on a couch as he smokes a hookah pipe. On the other hand, the last one was a selfie of the two in a car with their 3-year-old daughter True Thompson.
While Khloe has not interacted with Tristan's birthday tribute post, many of his followers criticized him in the comment section following swirling speculation surrounding his loyalty. A user wrote, "Not sure love is the word for it dawg… u walked all over her very blatantly," with another added, "Respect her then!!!!"
"You ain't love nothin but yourself my dood," a different Instagram user commented. In the meantime, a follower schooled him, "When you love someone, you are faithful. You wouldn't continue to go out of your way to bring pain to her, especially when she is the most amazing mommy out there to your daughter. If there is an ounce of you that truly loves her, let her go. Stop going back to claim her when you are simply just bored."
Reports broke earlier this month that Tristan and Khloe split up "very recently" shortly after Instagram model Sydney Chase claimed during an April interview that she hooked up with the NBA player in the fall. The basketball player was also caught entering a room with three women at a Bel Air birthday party and reappearing 30 minutes later looking "disheveled" in June.
Amid the ongoing breakup speculation, Khloe herself posted some cryptic posts on her Instagram Stories and even listened to Olivia Rodrigo's sad song about a partner moving on with someone new. The younger sister of Kim Kardashian was also reportedly "embarrassed, devastated and heartbroken" after she called it quits with Tristan once again.
