Miley Cyrus Covers ABBA's 'Dancing Queen' With Maren Morris for Pride Concert Special

During the 'Miley Cyrus Presents Stand by You' concert, the 'Party in the U.S.A.' hitmaker also performs some familiar songs such as Cher's 'Believe' and Pat Benatar's 'We Belong'.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus has slayed her performance of ABBA's "Dancing Queen". In honor of Pride Month, the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker headlined the "Miley Cyrus Presents Stand by You" concert and delighted fans with a Maren Morris duet that covered the pop group's 1976 hit.

On Wednesday, June 23, the 28-year-old singer shared previews from her Pride concert special on Instagram. Among those she put out was a clip of her and Maren's rendition of the iconic single. For the duet, the twosome could be seen donning matching magenta '70s style outfits. At one point, "Hannah Montana: The Movie" star called her singing partner "Queen Maren."

Teasing more sneak peek at the concert, Miley also posted her cover of Cher's chart-topping 1998 song "Believe". At the beginning of the clip, the pop star could be heard shouting, "Happy Pride everybody!" Her caption read, "IS IT EVEN A PRIDE SPECIAL IF YOU DONT PLAY @cher ?! THE ANSWER IS NO! #BELIEVE ME THIS SHOW IS GONNA BE EVERYTHING! DONT MISS IT JUNE 25 ON @peacocktv #mileypridespecial."

Joining Miley on the stage for jer "Believe" performance were "RuPaul's Drag Race" queens Kylie Sonique Love and Jaidynn Diore Fierce as well as Venus Ann Serena, Sapphire Mylan, Iris Lafleur, and Raquel Rea Heart. All were dressed in Cher's iconic looks from the 1960s to the present.

In another post, Miley shared a glimpse of the moment the audience sang her "We Can't Stop" anthem. Along with the touching clip, she wrote in the caption, "This feels like a peaceful protest. There are laws endangering the lgbtq+ community all around the country and even here in my home state."

"We can't stop and we won't stop doing everything in our power to create the changes we want to see not just here but AROUND THE WORLD! You've gotta start somewhere!" she continued. Aside from "We Can't Stop", she also sang Pat Benatar's "We Belong" with duo Brothers Osborne, as well as Cyndi Lauper and Madonna hits, according to press notes.

The one-hour concert, which took place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville for vaccinated attendees on June 8, will be streamed on Peacock TV on Friday, June 25 at 5 P.M. PT / 8 P.M. ET. It also features other country artists who are either members or allies of the LGBTQ+ community. They are Little Big Town, Orville Peck and Mickey Guyton.
