Making use of Instagram on Wednesday, June 23, the 22-year-old shared a short clip of him and Nicola smooching for the camera. He followed it up with a picture that saw the two posing at the beach. In the accompaniment of the post, he raved, "This exact day 1 year ago I asked this gorgeous woman to marry me."

"She makes me a better person everyday and is my best friend," the model and photographer further gushed. "I can't imagine my life without you because you continuously make me laugh and smile x happy 1 year baby."

Brooklyn's post has since caught the attention of his fiancee Nicola. The actress portraying Katara in "The Last Airbender" raved in the comment section, "I love you so much baby."

Brooklyn and Nicola confirmed their engagement in July 2020. At that time, he announced on Instagram, "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day I love you baby xx."

His bride-to-be, meanwhile, posted a snap of the two on her own Instagram account. She captioned it, "you've made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby and thank you harper for this pic."

The twosome reportedly planned to exchange vows in September this year. However, they decided to put their wedding on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "They originally told close friends to save a date in September 2021," some insiders told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper. "This week, Brooklyn told his mates they've decided to postpone as it's too risky."
