AceShowbiz - Lori Harvey doesn't have time to mind what others have said about her. In a new interview, the Instagram model, who usually stays quiet, weighed in on the disses she receives from others including her ex Future who shaded her on his new song.
"I think they get from me that I try to just not let any type of negativity or rumors or anything like that make me stoop down to that level and go back and forth with it or whatever," Lori shared during an interview with Bustle. "Just maintain my position of I know who I am, I know what's going on."
Alluding that she's hardly bothered, the stepdaughter of Steve Harvey went on to say, "I just try to stay up here and take the high road in every situation. So I think that would probably be what they get from me because I am private, so I like to just give enough."
It was also said that there's a running joke inside the Harvey family about Lori as they said, "If you have an issue with Lori, take it up with yourself because she's not going to do anything." Explaining herself, Lori said, "I'm the type of person where I have to kind of feel you out and get to know you, and then I get comfortable and then my crazy kind of shows. But if it's an environment I'm not familiar with, if it's too many people, then I'm more quiet, reserved, to myself, and very observant."
Lori's current boyfriend Michael B. Jordan also apparently maintains the same mentality. The "Creed" actor has been ignoring the negativity and continues gushing over Lori.
Future referred to Lori on 42 Dugg's "Maybach". "Magic City, I'm the owner/ Tell Steve Harvey I don't want her," so Future raps on the track.
Future isn't the only one who publicly slammed Lori. Rapper Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) repeatedly criticized Lori for her love life. Of Future's diss, Boosie recently said, "They mad cause Future slid. And they mad cause Future made Lori Harvey one of the ones in the crayon box. That's what I call it: a crayon box. You been in my crayon box, you just got took out and colored."
Insisting that Lori isn't "goals" like some people made her be, the Baton Rouge rapper opined, "It's just so crazy because the world, they say that Lori Harvey's are the goal but the [Reginae Carter] and the [Jayda Cheaves], they stupid. They the ones who stick around with a man for years. They the idiots. It ain't used to be like that. It used to be no pain no gain."
