The reality TV star has signed with bosses at the Unruly Agency to "have some fun."
She tells Page Six, "I'm not going to get too crazy just yet, but I'm definitely going to have some fun."
"I want to show all different facets of my life, so I'm going to be showing things from me doing yoga, taking people on set, cooking, all things that I like to do that's fun and do it in a sexy fun way."
Moakler has been thinking about joining the adult content platform for some time and finally decided to jump on when she realised it could help her brand.
"I'm really staying true to who I am as a person and what I'm comfortable with," the 46 year old tells the outlet. "I'm very comfortable with nudity. I always have been being a former Playmate, being in Maxim... I'm not trying to get crazy in my career now at my age, but I'm definitely willing to have some fun and make it a great experience for everybody."
And she insists her boyfriend, Matthew Rondeau, is very supportive. "He's amazing," she adds. "He and I talked about it a lot and I told him I wouldn't do it if he didn't support it, and he's been super supportive. He's actually been helping me edit my content and he's tried to help me with pictures I should use."
The mum-of-three reveals her kids are all aware of her OnlyFans plans, adding, "I don't think my kids are going to be on that website at any point in time, but my children do know I'm a former Playboy Playmate."
"We used to spend all our Easters at the Playboy Mansion, and I think there's definitely a way of transitioning your kids into letting them know what kind of content you do do and don't do. There's thousands of Playmates and there are thousands of Playmates who are mothers and their kids survive just fine."
The news of Shana's new venture comes amid a tabloid storm swirling around the former model, who has been accused of being an absent mum by her teenage children Landon and Alabama.
Landon took to social media last month (May21) to reveal his mother isn't in his life like his dad, Barker, and Alabama agreed with him, stating, "Can you guys stop painting her out to be an amazing mom? Did your moms ask to see you on Mother's Day (because) mine didn't? I'm done keeping it a secret, reality shows."
Moakler hit back, telling People, "The claims of being absent from my children's lives are false and incredibly hurtful. Co-parenting is hard, but I have always and will continue to prioritise my children's happiness and well-being."
Shana, who also shares 22-year-old Atiana with her ex Oscar De La Hoya, added, "Encouraging relationships with both parents is a duty on both mother and father. I know one day my children will see through the fame and money machine they have been thrust into and realise their mother loves and will always be there for them."
