AceShowbiz - Madonna seemed to encourage her son David Banda to be a fashion icon. When cheering on her teenager son who modeled a glamorous white dress, the "Material Girl" hitmaker stressed the importance of being confident.
The Grammy-winning singer took to her Instagram account on Saturday, May 29 to share a short video of her 15-year-old son strutting around the house. Donning a white silk dress and sunglasses, her son looked like runway-ready. The 62-year-old proud mom captioned the post, "Confidence is Everything." Near the end of the footage, her son was heard saying, "It feels so free, you know what I mean!"
The post has since been flooded with warm messages from her famous friends and followers. In the comment section, TV presenter Kelly Ripa was seen giving David five stars for his catwalk. Meanwhile, "Younger" star Debi Mazar gushed over the teenager, saying, "Omg I love him." She then jokingly added, "Look out [Naomi Campbell]." Vogue hairstylist Luigi Murenu also quipped, "Best walk," adding some red heart emojis.
An Instagram user commented, "David is EVERYTHING," while another chimed in, "Look at how he ate that up." A different fan also praised the teenager's look by saying, "HE'S ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL."
Madonna also tagged designer and artist Mae Couture, who seemed to create the stunning dress, in her post. Madge then uploaded the video to her account, along with the caption that read, "FLY BANDA."
This was not the first time Madonna posted her children on her social media. In April, the superstar shared a mother-daughter selfie with her daughter Lourdes Leon. The snap that turned people's heads featured the 24-year-old beauty embracing her natural armpit hair. Her post came along with a caption that read, "Like Pieces of your Heart Walking around outside of you...[love] #lola."
At the time, Madonna was seen wrapping her arms around her daughter's waist. She wore a white shift dress, a pink and purple flower crown, as well as a stack of gold bracelets and necklaces. On the other hand, her eldest daughter wore a stunning green halterneck dress which exposed her unshaven underarm. To complete her look, she also put on a red handbag and gold hoop earrings.
Alongside David, Madonna also adopted three other children, Mercy James and twins Estere and Stella. The pop star is also a mom to Lourdes from her past relationship with Carlos Leon, and Rocco Ritchie, whom she shares with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
