Chris Sheng, who has been dating the 'Celebrity Big Brother' alum on-and-off, says that he feels 'so blessed and fortunate' after being engaged to the 'love of [his] life.'

AceShowbiz - Courtney Stodden is hearing the wedding bells. Announcing that their on-and-off boyfriend Chris Sheng has popped the big question, the "Celebrity Big Brother" alum took to social media to show off their engagement ring.

The 26-year-old broke the happy news via Instagram on Sunday, May 30. Sharing a boomerang clip of themselves in which they gave a closer look at the giant sparkler, they gushed, "I said yes ...OH and the ring made me gag it's so beautiful #engaged #stopasianhate #diamondsareagirlsbestfriend."

Courtney's now-fiance, meanwhile took to his own Instagram page to let out photos of the rock and their dimly lit proposal dinner. "So this happened! Not how I planned but the moment was right. On Friday, May 28 I proposed to the love of my life and they said Yes. I feel so blessed and fortunate," he raved in the caption.

"We have both grown so much since we first met, and the fact that we have both been able to grow into better, stronger, more secure individuals while still being in a relationship together makes me have faith that this partnership will last a lifetime. For the first time we're both experiencing unconditional love. The truest kind of love," he added. "The kind where we may not always like each other but will ALWAYS love and respect each other. I promise to always be your rock, support, and shoulder to lean on - no matter what. I got you. Ily."

Courtney and Chris began dating in 2017, amid their split from now-ex-husband, actor Doug Hutchison. When speaking to Us Weekly in March 2020, they said, "I've been dating the same guy for three years, Chris [Sheng]. I am working on myself every day."

The "Couples Therapy" alum was just 16 when they tied the knot with then-50-year-old Doug. The couple, however, called it quits in 2017 and their divorce was finalized in January 2020. In March the same year, the model accused their ex-husband of grooming and verbal abuse.

"I've been scared to even speak up about feeling groomed or being verbally abused during the almost 10-year marriage because I was a child and he was 50 when we married," the model spilled at that time. "But I'm a woman now and it's time for me to put my big girl pants on and speak on this matter."

"And to Doug… I'll always love you; yet I'll always be angry," they went on. "You've left me - a child woman, feeling belittled and confused. These things I shall overcome. I wish you well. But please don't ever do this to another minor again. It's not right… even if the parent signs off. Wait a respectable amount of time before marrying. Children aren't on your level. I'll always love you regardless. Be better. As shall I."
