The rapper-turned-reality-TV-star catches flak as he continues to show his support for the disgraced 'The Bill Cosby Show' actor and calls for his freedom on Twitter.

AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz (formerly known as Lil Boosie) is notorious for his social media antics, but one of his latest posts has disturbed his fans. The "Wipe Me Down" emcee has caught heat after he once again showed his support for disgraced actor Bill Cosby.

On Tuesday, September 1, the Baton Rogue native took to Twitter to propose a petition demanding for the 83-year-old's release from prison despite multiple rape allegations against the TV vet. "Free Bill Cosby Let's Start A Petition," so the rapper-turned-reality-TV-star wrote.

Needless to say, his tweet prompted negative feedback from his fans and followers, who disagreed with Boosie. "boosie a legend but this ain't it," a fan replied to his tweet. Another commented, "This ain't it, champion."

Disappointed, someone declared that he/she's unfollowing Boosie from then on, "I've never unfollowed somebody so fast in my life." A fourth user took the same action after leaving a comment that read, "Time to block."

"Nahh champ but you're welcome to join him," a fifth one told Boosie. Another reacted in disbelief, "You can't be serious." Someone else seemingly thought Boosie was just joking, writing, "Lmao, did you really just say this bruh?"

Others were not so surprised considering what he has posted on Instagram that has caused him to be banned on the photo-sharing platform. "This Why He Banned On Instagram," one person commented. Another weighed in, "This is why his IG gone."

Another suggested, "Boosie delete this before they drag you into this," while one other simply wrote, "Yikes."

This isn't the first time Boozie puzzled his fans with his opinion on the multiple sexual assault allegations against Bill. Back in April, he argued that the comedian should be released as he spoke against 6ix9ine's early release due to coronavirus pandemic.

"I'm pissed off. I don't give a f**k who don't like it," he said in an interview with VladTV. "Quaaludes was like X pills back in the day, everybody was taking them bitches. Everybody was taking 'em! B***h, you knew what you was taking. Free Bill Cosby."

"80-something years old and you let a rat out of jail," he went on ranting, referring to the "TROLLZ" hitmaker. "You let a rat out of jail, man! This man got a couple years and you not gon' let him out of jail with the corona goin' on. That's racist. That's racist towards his money and everything he done worked for! You letting all these motherf**kers out but you won't let an 80-something-year-old man out? That's f**king racist!"

Bill Cosby was found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault and sentenced to three to ten years in prison in September 2018. He is currently incarcerated at the State Correctional Institution in Phoenix, Pennsylvania while awaiting result of his appeal in the case.
