The Mera of DC Extended Universe is reportedly embroiled in a legal battle with the Tesla mogul over the rights to embryos they created during their relationship.

AceShowbiz - Amber Heard was reportedly locked in a legal battle with ex-lover Elon Musk over the "Aquaman" actress' frozen embryos.

In documents obtained by Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, Jennifer Howell - a pal of Heard's sister Whitney Henriquez and mum Paige - revealed the latter told her that billionaire Musk was suing the actress.

"Paige told me.... she was in a legal battle with him over the rights to embryos they had created together," she shared. "He wanted to destroy them, and Amber tried to keep them to have a baby."

Comparing Musk to Heard's ex-husband Johnny Depp, Howell said, "Paige told me that Johnny was either an angel or a saint compared to Elon."

Howell made the claims in a U.S. libel trial Depp has brought against Heard, and her statement will be used as evidence in the trial in January 2021 after she received subpoenas from Depp's legal team.

The revelation comes after Henriquez testified in London's High Court in Depp's libel trial against U.K. tabloid The Sun, its publisher News Group Newspapers (NGN), and its executive editor Dan Wootton over a 2018 story that branded him a "wife beater" in relation to allegations Heard made against her ex-husband, which he denies, after they split in May 2016.

Henriquez claimed a drunken Depp nearly pushed her down the stairs at his L.A. home in 2015 when she intervened in a dispute. She added that, after Heard responded, "don't hit my sister," Depp "went for Amber," adding, "I saw him punch her hard in the head."

The trial came to a close on Tuesday (28Jul20), with judge Mr Justice Andrew Nicol not expected to deliver his ruling for several weeks.
